At the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music, students ages 8-18 can take classes in percussion, strings, brass, woodwinds, guitar, piano, voice, dance, music production and technology, podcasting, and more! In addition to classes, students have access to healthy snacks and meals, homework help, academic enrichment, and onsite counselors--all included in the program.
Registration costs $30 per student for the spring session (14 weeks). Instruments and technology required for the classes are provided by the program. Call 504-940-3400 for more info!
Priority registration is given to returning students and children living in the Musicians’ Village and the 70117, 70126, 70127, 70128, 70129, 70032, and 70122 zip codes.
